In addition to your normal online searches (Orbitz [www.orbitz.com], Expedia [www.expedia.com], and the airline’s sites), we have some suggestions for you:
 
1)       Skyscanner [http://www.skyscanner.com/] searches all the airlines at the same time and offers you a matrix of prices.  The best feature, however, is that you can search for flight prices for either specific dates, for a month, or for a whole year.  Ever wondered when it was cheapest to fly to Cancun?  Skyscanner shows great prices in August and September!  

2)       Momondo [http://www.momondo.com/] is another great online flight search tool.  They search over 800 websites for flight and car rental information, which saves you the hassle of checking them all out yourself.  We like it because they’re independent (they don’t sell travel), it’s faster than the other sites, and city guides are written by users themselves so you get the real story.
